I'm still totally into my game. My little warrior is trucking along nicely, moving quickly toward level 31. I've met some really cool, helpful people who are showing me the ropes. The RP leaves a bit to be desired, but I can live without that at the moment. For now, I'm probably studying more on how to be a better warrior (outside of actual playtime) than I am for my classes. There's a reason for this.
There's a weekly column on WoW Insider called "The Care and Feeding of Warriors." A recent edition asked the question Why we War?. In other words, what makes the warrior class worth the trouble. The comments yielded this absolutely beautiful bit of writing by Kurdon (comment number 20 from the above link):
